Tsumekizaki Narcissus Flower Festival in Shimoda, Shizuoka

At Tsumekizaki, a picturesque spot on the Susaki Peninsula, the Tsumekizaki Narcissus Festival is held every year from December 20th until January 31st.

At this time of the year, three million Narcissus bloom offering a scenic beauty of fragrant flower in the peninsula. The festival comes with a variety of fun events, including taiko drumming performances and local food stands - the Ikenodan miso hot pot is a regional specialty and a must try.
The Festival can be accessed within 15 minutes by bus from Izukyu-Shimoda Station with the bus 10 bus bounding for Tsumekizaki. Access by car is also easy and quick from Nomade Resort and paid parking lots can be found.
